1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age.

2. User Accounts

Certain features require account registration. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account. You are responsible for maintaining your username and ensuring it does not impersonate others or violate applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User-Generated Content

The App allows users to submit content including Tales, Rescue Stories, images, and profile information. By submitting content, you represent that you have the necessary rights to post it and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute the content within the App. Content marked Public may be visible to all users, and content shared with your Pack may be visible to approved Pack members. You are solely responsible for your submissions, and we reserve the right to review, moderate, remove, or restrict content at our discretion.

4. Rescue Organization Profiles

Premium members may claim and edit certain rescue organization profiles. By doing so, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of that organization. We may revoke editing access if authorization cannot be verified or misuse occurs.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, upload abusive or infringing content, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the App’s operation or security. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

6. Premium Subscriptions

Premium features are offered through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed through your Apple ID account and subject to Apple’s policies. Deleting your Tito account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

7. Account Deletion & Data Management

You may delete your account through the App’s data management settings. Account deletion permanently removes access and associated personal data and may anonymize certain user-submitted content. Deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions. Some limited information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as abuse prevention.

8. Intellectual Property

All App content, branding, design elements, graphics, and software are the property of Lean Towards Joy or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the App without prior written permission.

9. Health Disclaimer

Information provided in the App is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice. Individual dogs may react differently to foods or substances. Always consult a qualified veterinarian before introducing unfamiliar items or if your dog ingests a non-food item.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or complete accuracy of content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lean Towards Joy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

12. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at support@titothetripod.com to attempt informal resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if eligible and we may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement or unauthorized use. Arbitration may be conducted in your county of residence, our principal place of business, or remotely as permitted by the rules. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding. You and we agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action or representative proceeding.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State in which Lean Towards Joy is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
